Tomato Cabbage

Any anti-cabbage eaters in your life make it this way and taste the difference. Delicious as a side dish with chicken cutlets and mashed potatoes!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 small can of Campbell’s condensed tomato soup
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • Black pepper and salt

Preparation Method:

  1. In a large pan, fry the onions in butter until they are soft and brown. Add the shredded cabbage and mix well. Cover the pan with a lid. Then, simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes to soften the cabbage.
  2. Add flour and mix well before adding the tomato soup and vegetable broth. Season well with salt and pepper. Pop the lid back on and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
  3. Make sure to taste the cabbage before serving and add more salt or black pepper if needed.
