Boneless Ribeye Roast (3lbs)

Refrigerate roast until cooking time, DO NOT bring to room temperature. Season the outside of your roast with salt and pepper. I also like to rub mine with English Mustard (the yellow one)

Step 1: Heat your oven to 450 degrees F to sear the roast. Roast for 15 minutes at this high temperature.

  • Start your roast at a high temperature. This will help it sear and develop a dark, richly flavored crust. This crust makes it look good and taste delicious.

Reduce the oven to 325 degrees F. Continue roasting for 1 hour and 46 minutes. This will result in a medium done roast.

  • Dropping the temperature of your oven will help your roast cook more gently and evenly and be juicy inside.

Take out the roasted meat and leave it to rest for at least 10 minutes before carving.

  • Letting your roast rest before carving ensures the juices have a chance to settle. This makes your roast as tender and flavorful as possible.
