Dry rub for fish:
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon garam Marsala powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- black pepper
- 3 or 4 white fish fillets, like cod or tilapia
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 1 green chili chopped
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- Olive oil
Preparation Method:
- Mix all the dry spices together and sprinkle over the fish fillets.
- Mix the garlic and chili and rub gently onto the fish.
- Sprinkle the lemon juice over the fish and leave the fish sitting in this mixture for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a little oil and fry the fish for about 5 minutes on each side until they are browned.
