Spicy Fish Fillets

Dry rub for fish:

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam Marsala powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper
  • 3 or 4 white fish fillets, like cod or tilapia
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 1 green chili chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Olive oil

Preparation Method:

  1. Mix all the dry spices together and sprinkle over the fish fillets.
  2. Mix the garlic and chili and rub gently onto the fish.
  3. Sprinkle the lemon juice over the fish and leave the fish sitting in this mixture for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a little oil and fry the fish for about 5 minutes on each side until they are browned.
