Tuna Melts


  • 1 large package premium albacore tuna in water
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • ½ hot green chili, chopped
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt/pepper to your taste
  • Swiss cheese slices
  • Bread

Preparation Method:

  1. Mix tuna, onions, celery and chili together.
  2. Add a couple of tablespoons mayonnaise (more or less to your taste) and mix well.
  3. Add a little salt and pepper (taste to see if you have enough).
  4. Lightly toast the bread.
  5. Cover one side of toasted bread with tuna mixture and place a slice of Swiss cheese on top.
  6. Place under a broiler and cook until cheese is melted and a little brown.
  7. Serve immediately
