Tomato Cabbage


  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 small cabbage shredded
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 small can Campbell’s condensed tomato soup
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • Black pepper and salt

Preparation Method:

  1. In a large pan fry the onions in butter until they are soft and browning. Add the shredded cabbage, mix well and then pop the lid on and simmer over a low heat for about 10 minutes to soften the cabbage.
  2. Add flour and mix well before adding the tomato soup and vegetable broth. Season well with salt and pepper. Pop the lid back on and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
  3. Make sure to taste the cabbage before serving and add more salt or black pepper in needed. Delicious with chicken cutlets and mashed potatoes!
