Roasted Shrimp/Prawns


  • 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Preparation method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  2. Place the shrimp on a sheet pan covered with foil and sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the olive oil and juice over the shrimp, and roast in the oven for 6 to 7 minutes.
  4. Transfer to a plate or container and chill for a couple of hours in the fridge.
  5. Eat with your favorite spicy shrimp sauce or use in sandwiches or salads
