Ingredients:
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (10 oz) of regular or miniature marshmallows
Stovetop Method:
- Grease a 13x9x2 inch dish with cooking spray.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
- Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated.
- Transfer mixture into prepared dish and press down until even. If you wet your hands before pressing down, the mixture won’t stick to your hands.
Microwave method:
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat butter and marshmallows and cook on high for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Depending on the wattage of your microwave cooking times may vary.
- Stir until smooth.
- Add Rice Krispie cereal.
- Stir until well-coated.
- Transfer mixture into prepared dish and press down until even.
