Ingredients:
- 40 Raw jumbo shrimp, cleaned, butterflied with their tails left on.
- 1 really hot pepper
- 1/2 onion
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Your favorite panko breadcrumbs
Preparation Method:
- Blend all ingredients together except for breadcrumbs and pour over the jumbo shrimp. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
- Dip each shrimp in breadcrumbs; shake off any excess breadcrumbs.
- Leave breaded shrimp in the fridge for another hour or so.
- Heat oil until the temperature reaches 375 degrees.
- Deep fry shrimp in batches until brown about 4-5 minutes
