Deep Fried Jumbo Shrimp


  • 40 Raw jumbo shrimp, cleaned, butterfly with their tails left on.
  • 1 really hot pepper
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Your favorite panko breadcrumbs

Preparation Method:

  1. Blend all ingredients together except for breadcrumbs and pour over the jumbo shrimp. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
  2. Dip each shrimp in breadcrumbs; shake off any excess breadcrumbs.
  3. Leave breaded shrimp in the fridge for another hour or so.
  4. Heat oil until temperature reaches 375 degrees.
  5. Deep fry shrimp in batches until brown about 4-5 minutes
